With the advent of a hard Brexit looming, the Gibraltar-American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Gibraltar), the Gibraltar-Israel Chamber of Commerce (Gibrael) and the Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce have come together to network and demonstrate unity by holding an exclusive wine-tasting event for their members at the La Sala Lounge, in the Sunborn Hotel. The first woman in the Middle East to have won a Nobel Prize for science, has delivered a talk at the University of Gibraltar. Professor Ada Yonath researched large protein structures and received the award for her work on the structure and function of the ribosome.
