Thanksgiving Charity Gala

AmCham Gibraltar's first Thanksgiving Charity Gala Dinner on the 23rd of November brought together around 130 guests. Local leaders from some of the different sectors in Gibraltar including AmCham members, representatives from the Gibraltar Government and other local guests looking to enjoy good food, a good time, and above all; to support AmCham Gibraltar and GibSams (The Gibraltar branch of Samaritans UK).

The dinner was greatly enjoyed and Kevin Allen, CEO of Rekap Business growth solutions, delivered a great keynote speech. James Lasry President of AmCham Gibraltar welcomed and thanked everyone involved in making our first Thanksgiving Charity Gala possible. Marielou Guerrero, Chairwoman of GibSams thanked guests for their support and after 11am, guests could enjoy entertainment with music by JetStream.

Some of the items auctioned off were a signed print and signed limited edition book by world renowned artist Christian Hook, a week's accommodation in one of the Hideaways Club villas, a sun seeker boat ride for six people, a signed shirt by Gerard Pique (Barcelona FC), a signed shirt by Ander Herrera (Manchester United), a long weekend break at a modernist beach house in Tarifa amongst some of the prizes.

Angelo Cerisola, former student from the Washington Internship Programme introduced the 2017 Internship class (who gave us greetings from Washington in a video) and thanked HM Government of Gibraltar and The Advanced Leadership Foundation for the opportunity.
